The purpose of the Network is to facilitate operational information sharing in real time among competent national authorities to prevent and counter terrorism in the region, becoming an efficient and secure regional mechanism to quickly identify and contact national authorities/institutions against possible terrorist threats.

Objectives
  • Provide secure access to a directory of relevant people and institutions designated by the Member States.
  • Strengthen cooperation between people and institutions designated by each country.
  • Encourage the exchange of experiences and better practices with other multilateral organizations that manage similar networks.
Activities
  • Facilitate the exchange of information between member countries through the directory of contacts.
  • Promote meetings with other international organizations that have similar networks to exchange experiences.
  • Facilitate virtual and in person meetings of focal points in key agencies of participating states.
  • Connect member countries of the Network 24/7.
