The Individual Petition System Portal (´Portal´) of the Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) is part of the integrated document management system relating to petitions and requests for precautionary measures, and is a tool for transmission of information. Through the Portal, the parties are able to submit documentation, see documents issued by the Commission and consult the status of their matters. Petitioners can submit new petitions and requests for precautionary measures through the Portal using the electronic petition or precautionary measures request form. To access the Portal, users must first create an account in the system.
The Portal is designed for access via desktop computers and laptops. The system functionalities are not enabled for access via smart phones and tablets.
