Regional Workshop “Designing Strategies for the Inter-American Convention against Racism and for the Sexual and Reproductive Health of Afro-descendant Women in Latin America, the Caribbean and the Diaspora,” Nicaragua, 2009

The Regional Workshop “Designing Strategies for the Inter-American Convention against Racism and for the Sexual and Reproductive Health of Afro-descendant Women in Latin America, the Caribbean and the Diaspora,” was held in Managua, Nicaragua, in July 2009. At the event, in addition to facilitating the participation of Afro-descendant representatives, the Department of International Law gave a presentation on the status of the Draft Inter-American Convention against Racism and All Forms of Discrimination and Intolerance. The representatives of the Network of Afro-Latin American, Afro-Caribbean and Diaspora Women (link) prepared a report on the workshop.
