Activities undertaken

Course on International Law, Brazil, 2009

In August 2009, for the first time, the traditional Course on International Law organized by the Inter-American Juridical Committee and the Department of International Law drew on the services of a specialist professor who lectured on racial discrimination and protection of the the rights of Afro-descendants through the OAS. By the same token, the Department of International Law provided the funding for scholarships for four young people of African descent who have stood out for their endeavors in this area to attend the Course.
