Seminar on Indigenous Peoples and Peacebuilding Experiences The Seminar on Indigenous Peoples and Peacebuilding Experiences was held on August 13 and 14, 2009 in La Paz, Bolivia, in the framework of the Inter-American Peace Forum and in collaboration with the Ministry of External Relations and Cults of Bolivia. The purpose of this seminar was to discuss and learn about unique conflict resolution and peace-building methods that are used by different indigenous communities in the Hemisphere. Crisis Management and Conflict Resolution Seminar In collaboration with the United States Institute of Peace and the Inter-American Defense College, the OAS Department of Democratic Sustainability and Special Missions organized a four-day Seminar on Crisis Management and Conflict Resolution aimed at training the participants in negotiation and conflict resolution tools and strategies.
