PLACE AND DATE OF THE FORTY-FIFTH SPECIAL SESSION OF THE GENERAL ASSEMBLY TO CONSIDER AND ADOPT THE 2014 PROGRAM-BUDGET

(Adopted by the Permanent Council at its regular meeting held on August 28, 2013)

THE PERMANENT COUNCIL OF THE ORGANIZATION OF AMERICAN STATES,

CONSIDERING that at its forty-third special session, the General Assembly, through resolution AG/RES. 1 (XLIII-E/12), resolved to convoke a special session to consider and approve the 2014 program-budget, to be held no later than October 30, 2013; and

BEARING IN MIND that it is necessary to determine a place and date to hold the special session of the General Assembly,

RESOLVES:

1. That the forty-fifth special session of the General Assembly to consider and approve the 2014 program-budget will be held on October 30, 2013, at the headquarters of the General Secretariat of the Organization.

2. To bring this resolution to the attention of the Preparatory Committee for the forty-fifth special session of the General Assembly.
