• Enforcement and Procedural Law
The CIDIP process has produced several
Inter-American Conventions and Instruments on procedural law and
enforcement (judicial cooperation), including the following:
Inter-American Convention and Protocol on letters rogatory;
Inter-American Convention and Protocol on taking of evidence abroad;
Inter-American Convention on extraterritorial validity of foreign
judgments and arbitral awards; Inter-American Convention on the
execution of preventive measures; Inter-American Convention proof
and information on foreign law; Inter-American Convention general
rules of private international law; and, Inter-American Convention
on jurisdiction in the international sphere for the extraterritorial
validity of foreign judgments. |
