Turkey supports OAS work in Belize-Guatemala Adjacency Zone with $200,000, showing commitment to find a cooperation mechanism for Sartsoon River differendum

On May 24, the Government of Turkey announced a contribution of US$ 220.000 to the OAS Peace Fund/Belize-Guatemala Subfund following a fruitful meeting between the Foreign Ministers of Turkey, Belize and Guatemala, and the OAS SG Representative for Belize-Guatemala Affairs. Turkey reiterated its commitment to find a cooperation mechanism for Sartsoon River differendum and renewed its support for the confidence-building measures in place in the Belize-Guatemala Adjacency Zone.
