Meeting of the Deputy Foreign Ministers of Belize and Guatemala

On January 17, 2014, the Deputy Foreign Ministers of Belize (CEO) and Guatemala met at the OAS Office in the Adjacency Zone to draft the Road Map Agreement that the respective Foreign Ministers signed January 24th at OAS Headquarters with the OAS Secretary General. The Agreement consists of the commitment of both countries to strengthen the bilateral relationship via a series of meetings of various sectors to facilitate greater exchanges as the best way to create a climate of confidence conducive to the fixing of a date to hold the necessary referenda to lead to the International Court of Justice.
