Within the context of the Road Map Agreement, from February 7-9, 2014 a group of high level authorities, headed by the Deputy Foreign Ministers of Belize and Guatemala, and OAS officials visited various communities in the Adjacency Zone, including Monte de los Olivos and Santa Cruz/Jalacté, and met with community and religious leaders to exchange information, identify the needs and challenges facing the communities and explore future cooperation opportunities. The delegation also visited the reference marker at Gracias a Dios in the South of Belize and Guatemala.
