Sweden Announces Contribution to OAS/AZ Office

On December 3, 2014, the Government of Sweden announced a contribution of US$100,000 to the Belize-Guatemala Subfund of the OAS Peace Fund, as a result of the visit organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belize to the OAS Office in the Belize-Guatemala Adjacency Zone in September 2014, where more than 60 Ambassadors accredited to the government of Belize witnessed first-hand the important work of the OAS/AZ Office and learned about the evolution of the process and the advances achieved in the past fifteen years, as a result of OAS mediation and peace-building efforts.
