Quarterly Meeting of the Armies

On August 27, 2014 an operational coordination meeting between the Belize Defense Force (BDF) and the Guatemalan Army was held in Bullet Tree Falls, Cayo District, Belize with the participation and support of the OAS Office in the Belize-Guatemala Adjacency Zone. These meetings are held every three months under the auspices of the OAS Peace Fund to exchange information on the situation in the Adjacency Zone and to inform about the most recent activities and patrols carried out by the respective armies in the area.
