NOTE TO ALL APPLICANTS TO OAS SCHOLARSHIPS

PLEASE READ BEFORE STARTING

The application must be completed in its entirety before exiting the site or submitting the form. The information you enter can be saved as you are working on it during this session. However, information cannot be saved for another session before the application is submitted. We strongly suggest that you print the blank application form (FORM AND LINK HERE), prepare the narrative information in a separate Word document which you can copy and paste into the on-line application form, and fill out the other data by hand on the application form before you begin to fill out the form on line. Once you access and open the form, it can remain open (without exiting or submitting it) indefinitely, so you will have time to fillout the form and check your information before submitting it. No changes will be permitted after you submit the form.

REQUIRED DOCUMENTATION TO BE SUBMITTED WITH SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION:

Please upload the following documents in 1 PDF (Adobe) file. Applicants should first combine all supporting documents into 1 PDF (Adobe) file before uploading.

The application must include the following documents:

· Completed OAS-TWB Scholarship Application Form

· Copy of government issued identification document

· Curriculum Vitae or Resume, without attachments;

· Copy of academic records or transcripts of completed courses;

· One letter of recommendation from a university professor or current or most recent employer that includes the letterhead of the University/Institution, the Professor’s/Employer’s position within the University/Institution, date and signature.

· Students whose native language is not English will be required to submit proof of English proficiency as follows:

o An official transcript verifying completion of studies in an English speaking university in the last five years OR

o A test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or IELTS OR

o Other standard English proficiency certificates

· Proof that you have sufficient funds to cover the tuition costs of US$75 listed in article 2 above by submitting one, or a combination of the following documents:

o a copy of a bank statement or bank letter;

o a letter from employer showing monthly or yearly salary; or

o letter showing student loan or additional scholarship(s), grants, financial aid.
