OAS Scholarship Opportunities– ESAN

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE BEGINNING THE APPLICAION

Take into account that the application requires that the following two essays are written in English. Each essay must be a minimum of 800 characters (not words) and a maximum of 2900 characters (including spaces).

Essay 1: Describe how the program of study will directly impact your career, improve your professional skills for your current job or future work.

Essay 2: The OAS scholarships require scholars to return or remain in their country of citizenship or permanent residence after completion of their studies for a minimum of the period equal to the time funded for their studies. Please indicate, in a 5-year plan, how you intend to apply the acquired knowledge and experience to contribute to the development of your country and region. Also, please indicate the reasons for applying to this scholarship, financial need and how you will cover the additional costs not included in this scholarship.

Before you begin your submission, please ensure you have all required documents, scanned in one (1) single file in PDF (5MB), since it is a requirement to submit a successful scholarship application:

§ Copy of identification document (birth certificate, citizenship document, passport or national identity card)

§ Letter of admission to the study program you are applying to or proof confirming the admission process has already begun to the University - ESAN (i.e. the application confirmation number, ID number of the application, or the email confirmation from the university confirming that your application was successfully received).

§ Curriculum Vitae (no more than 4 pages)

§ Diploma(s), degree(s), or certificate(s) of concluded studies that certify compliance with all academic requirements, including approval of final papers, if applicable.

§ Copy of the last university degree or qualification obtained (undergraduate, masters or doctorate).

§ A letter of recommendation from a professor or most recent employer that includes the letterhead of the University/Institution, the Professor’s/Employer’s position within the institution, date, and signature.

§ Document/Certificate demonstrating proficiency in the language of study, if applicable.

· Admission requirements established by ESAN:

· Work experience: the candidate must have at least three years of corporate experience. Internships are not a valid substitute for this requirement.

· Language: For students in their native language is not English must submit TOEFL iBT (minimum score 80) or equivalent.

· Academic record: you must have a high academic record.

The deadline to apply for admission to the MBA International program: August 28^th, 2013

The deadline to apply for the scholarship OAS-ESAN is the: September 11^th, 2013

Date of start of the programme is the: January 27^th, 2014

Note that the OAS will only consider complete applications. Applicants failing to submit all required documents will be considered ineligible.
