OAS-University of Manchester Scholarship Program
NOTE TO ALL APPLICANTS TO OAS-UNIVERSITY OF MANCHESTER FACULTY OF ENGINEERING AND PHYSICAL SCIENCES SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAM

This application must be completed in its entirety before you exit the site or submit the form.
Any information you enter can be saved during this session but cannot be saved for another session before the application is submitted.
Before you start, please make sure you have the required documents, scanned in PDF format (5MB), in one (1) single file as it is a requirement in order to successfully submit the application:
- Completed OAS/EPS Scholarship Application Form
- Letter of unconditional admission to the EPS
o Proof of application for admission to EPS could be shown in the forms of the application confirmation number, application ID number or email confirmation forwarded by EPS which confirms that the application was successfully received.
- Copy of government issued identification document;
- Curriculum Vitae or Resume, without attachments;
- Copy of undergraduate or master’s academic records or transcripts of completed programs;
- Two letters of recommendation; one from a professor and another from current or most recent employer;
- Two essays in English as indicated in the OAS/EPS Scholarship Application Form
- Students whose native language is not English will be required to submit the following proof of English proficiency:
- An official transcript verifying completion of studies in an English speaking university in the last five years
- A test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) with a score of 550 or higher for the paper based test, 215 for computer-based test or 90 for internet-based test; IELTS 5.5, or the equivalent, an overall score of at least 6.5 in IELTS (with at least 5.5 in each component), or a paper-based TOEFL score of at least 570 (with at least 5.0 in Test of Written English (TWE)), or an internet-based TOEFL (IBT) score of at least 89 with at least 17 in Listening and Writing, 18 in Reading and 20 in Speaking. Please note that Institutional TOEFL is not accepted. The date stated on the certificate must be within two years of your proposed start date.
- Each eligible applicant has to submit proof of funding to cover the remaining tuition fees and any additional fees to be covered. Applicants without the required proof will not be considered.
