PLEASE READ INSTRUCTIONS BELOW BEFORE SENDING YOUR SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

This application form must be completed online in its entirety before you exit the site or before you submit it.

Any information you enter can be saved during this session but cannot be saved for another session before the application is submitted.

Before you start, please make sure you have all the required documents, scanned and stored up in one (1) single PDF file (maximum size: 5MB).

a) Copy of ID (Passport photo page, Driver’s License or National Country ID);
b) Curriculum Vitae (Do not include certificates or diplomas);
c) Undergraduate degree transcripts and, for applicants of Doctorate programs, transcripts of the master's or doctorate degree(s);
d) Copy of Highest Degree University Diploma obtained
e) Two (2) recommendation letters, preferably from university professors or other persons with renowned professional experience;
f) Essays:

I. For Applicants to Master's programs

Two (2) essays in Portuguese with the following specifications:

            § Line spacing: 1.5
            § Margins (top, bottom, left, and right): 2.5 cm            
            § Font: Times New Roman 12
            § Essay 1: expectations and academic interests, professional experiences and perspective regarding the return to the country of origin. Maximum of 2 pages of length.
            § Essay 2: For each Master's program of interest, justification behind the choice of each Master’s degree programs in the selected universities; main research theme, definition and justification of the main issue that will be studied, and the basic methodology that the student will utilize for the research. Between 3 and 5 pages of length.


I. For Applicants to Doctorate programs

Two (2) essays in Portuguese with the following specifications:

§ Line spacing: 1.5
§ Margins (top, bottom, left, and right): 2.5 cm
§ Language: Portuguese
§ Essay 1: expectations and academic interests, professional experiences and perspective regarding the return to the country of origin. Maximum of 2 pages of length.
§ Essay 2: For each Doctorate program of interest, justification behind the choice of the Doctorate program selected; main research theme, definition and justification of the main issue that will be studied, bibliography review, and the methodology, schedule, and literature that the student will utilize for the research. Between 5 and 8 pages of length.

NOTE: Documents that are not included in the PDF file that you submit with this form will not be considered and your application will be deemed incomplete.
