NOTE TO ALL APPLICANTS TO OAS SCHOLARSHIPS

Step1   Apply to the Ministry of Education forscholarship consideration 

To apply to the NationalTuition Assistance program (formerly National Grant Scholarship) through theScholarship and Educational Loan Division of the Ministry of Education,applicants must attach the required supporting documents listed in this link.

Applicants must complete and submit the scholarshipapplication form, and provide all the required supporting documents to be consideredfor the scholarship.

ü  Applicationforms are available from the Scholarship and Educational Loan Division at theMinistry of Education onShirley Street OR online through thelink in the announcement.

ü  Deadline: March 31, 2021

ü  Questionsrelated to the Government of The Bahamas Scholarship, should be sent to UnderSecretary Serethea Clarke at [email protected].

Step 2      Apply to the OAS for scholarshipconsideration

Ø  Afterapplying to the Government of The Bahamas and receiving the admission letterfrom the selected institutions, applicants must have ALL requiredsupporting documentation, which includes:

1.      ID – scan or photo of passportpage that contains the applicant’s full name, date of birth, and country ofcitizenship.

2.      Admission letter (s) – admissionletters to up to three (3) different participating institutions or letter ofenrollment from one of the participating institutions.

Ø ALLthe required documents must be combined into one (1) single PDF file (no larger than5MB). If the file is larger than5MB, you will not be able to summit the online form. The application system does not allow for more thanone document to be uploaded.
