NOTE TO ALL APPLICANTS TO OAS SCHOLARSHIPS

GOVERNMENT OF THE BAHAMAS APPLICATIONPROCESS

Step 1    Apply to theMinistry of Education for scholarship consideration

To apply to the National Tuition Assistance program (formerly National Grant Scholarship) through theScholarship and Educational Loan Division of the Ministry of Education,applicants must attach the required supporting documents listed in this link.

Applicants must complete and submit the scholarshipapplication form, and provide all the required supporting documents to beconsidered for the scholarship.

A    Application forms are available from the Scholarship and Educational Loan Division at theMinistry of Education onShirley Street OR online through thelink in the scholarship announcement.

Step 2      Apply to the OAS for scholarship consideration

After applying to the Ministry of Education and receiving the admission letter from the selected institutions, applicants must have ALL requiredsupporting documentation, which includes:
1.      ID – scan or photo of passportpage that contains the applicant’s full name, date of birth, and country of citizenship. 
2.      Admission letter (s) – admission letters to up to three (3) different participating institutions or letter ofenrollment from one of the participating institutions.

ALL the required documents must be combined into one (1) single PDF file (no larger than5MB). If the file is larger than 5MB, you will not be able to summit the online form. The application system does not allow for more thanone document to be uploaded.
