This tool, developed by the Public Health Institute at Liverpool John Moores University in collaboration with WHO and the CDC, provides access to abstracts from published studies that have measured the effectiveness of interventions to prevent violence over the world. To be included in the database, studies must have measured the impact of interventions directly on violence. Studies have been selected through a systematic review of published academic literature and the full inclusion criteria.

Blueprints for Healthy Youth Development provides a registry of evidence-based positive youth development programs designed to promote the health and well-being of children and teens. The database, run by the Center for the Study and Prevention of Violence at the University of Colorado at Boulder, reviewed more than 1,400 programs and designated 5% as model and promising, following a strict selection process.
