WHAT IS NOW4WRC23?
The Network of Women for WRC-23 (NOW4WRC23) is a forum for networking, mentoring, and knowledge sharing. The initiative aims to advance the goals, objectives, and achievements of NOW4WRC19 into the new ITU Radiocommunication Sector (ITU-R) study cycle leading up to the next World Radiocommunication Conference (WRC-23).
COMMIT FOR NOW4WRC
Commit to NOW4WRC23 is a program to demonstrate the commitments of CITEL’s Member States and Sector Members to the NOW4WRC23 program. Specifically, Commit for NOW4WRC is an effort to have Member states and Sector members make commitments to advance gender equality in their own delegations, at Regional and Sub-Regional Organizations and at the ITU, including WRC2023. Each commitment made will help us reach the goal of the WRC-19 Gender Declaration to advance gender equality, equity and parity in the ITU-R. We are asking each Member state and Sector member to make a public commitment in advance of WRC-2023 that we can share here on the CITEL NOW website to demonstrate Region 2’s commitment to NOW4WRC23. Together we can ensure that CITEL is the leader in gender equality, equity and parity in the world in advance of WRC 2023.

Grit and Growth Mindset Workshop sponsored by Verizon
Grit – defined as perseverance, dedication and a strong drive and commitment to achieve one's goals, and "growth mindset" – the belief that our abilities are flexible and adaptable, and can be improved through deliberate effort – are better predictors of professional success than pure intelligence, what school you attended, or how high you graduated in your class, especially for women. Even more exciting, grit and a growth mindset enable us to adapt to and overcome ever-changing obstacles and barriers in the workplace (and beyond) and to realize our full potential. And through teaching, these traits can be developed and enhanced.
