The Organization of American States (OAS), the Forum of Federations, and the University of Kent will host a webinar to examine:
- The growing pivotal role of subnational governments and their unique contributions to effectively address the Coronavirus crisis;
- The differentiated impact of the crisis across countries, regions and municipalities in the LAC region
- The key challenges facing subnational governments as a result of the pandemic, as well as good practice examples in addressing those challenges; and
- The need to raise the voice and increase the participation of sub-national governments in the hemispheric dialogue to chart a new era of cooperation with these influential local actors by learning from other successful collaborative experiences.
