On March 6, 2015, the Second Meeting of High Authorities of the Inter-American Cooperation Mechanism for Effective Public Management - MECIGEP was held in the city of Pachuca de Soto, State of Hidalgo, Mexico.

The objective of the meeting was the presentation of three (3) Reports of the Mechanism's Analysis Rounds, which took place during 2014, in Brazil, Dominican Republic and Paraguay; in order to publicize the progress of the Mechanism, obtain valuable inputs and suggestions, as well as outline new topics of interest to the participating delegations for future MECIGEP Rounds.

Representatives of twenty-one (21) OAS Member States participated in the Meeting, as well as the OAS Secretary for Political Affairs, Dr. Kevin Casas-Zamora; the Director of the OAS Department for Effective Public Management, Ms. Maria Fernanda Trigo; and the Director of the OAS Department for Effective Public Management, Ms. María Fernanda Trigo. In its role as host country, Mexico presided over the meeting, represented at the main table by Ms. Alejandra Díaz Aguirre, Head of the General Directorate of Human Development and Professional Career Service, Ministry of Public Administration (SFP).
