The Inter-American Council for Integral Development (CIDI), under the chairmanship of Ambassador Lou-Anne Gaylene Gilchrist, Permanent Representative of Saint Vincent and the Grenadines to the OAS, will convene a regular meeting on Tuesday, May 27, 2025, focused on “Strategic Action for Addressing Brain Drain: Talent Retention and Cooperation.”
The meeting, organized by the Executive Secretariat for Integral Development (SEDI), will provide a forum for Member States to explore concrete strategies to retain talent, foster regional cooperation, and strengthen national capacities in response to the ongoing challenges of human capital flight. The session will feature panel presentations and a dialogue among Member States and will also include updates on sectoral ministerial processes and recent regional initiatives.
