The Executive Secretariat of the Inter-American Drug Abuse Control Commission (CICAD) of the Organization of American States (OAS) supports the Chair of the Group of Experts on Comprehensive and Sustainable Alternative Development (GEDAIS, by its Spanish-language acronym).

The GEDAIS promotes a space for dialogue and horizontal cooperation to share national and regional progress and to advance the work on alternative development in the Americas.

Under the leadership of Colombia as Chair and Peru as Vice Chair of the GEDAIS, we share the Calendar of Activities planned for 2025, with participation of experts designated by OAS member states through their National Drug Commissions.
