As digital threats continue to evolve, the development of robust national cybersecurity education systems has become paramount. This high-level webinar, organized in collaboration with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) and the Organization of American States (OAS), through its Inter-American Committee against Terrorism (CICTE), will present the key findings from the newly released paper, "A Systems Approach to Understanding National Cybersecurity Education Capacity."
The session will provide a overview of how countries can leverage a systems approach to build and enhance their cybersecurity education systems and better address their current and future digital security needs. Through expert presentations and discussions, the webinar will examine systemic approaches to strengthening cybersecurity education, training, and workforce development to foster national resilience, and how the interactions between various interventions should be considered.
The event will begin with opening remarks from representatives of ITU and OAS/CICTE, followed by a presentation highlighting the paper's key findings. This will lay the groundwork for a panel discussion featuring prominent voices from the cybersecurity sector, who will further explore how education and workforce development are essential for tackling current and future cybersecurity challenges.
