On June 20, 2024, the Institutional Strengthening Unit of the Executive Secretariat of the Inter-American Drug Abuse Control Commission (CICAD) of the Organization of American States (OAS) launched the Therapeutic Justice Program with a Restorative Approach in the Fiscal and Judicial District of Huaura.

Objectives:

1) Transform the way in which cases of adolescents in conflict with criminal law are addressed in the judicial district of Huaura, especially those who face problems related to drug use.

2) Integration of mental health treatments for problematic drug use simultaneously with the imposition of socio-educational measures.
