The workshop is aimed at government authorities, public policy specialists, international organizations, and other key social actors working to strengthen social protection systems in the Americas. Participants will explore the role of care systems in improving social well-being and reducing poverty, learning from successful experiences in this area.

The event is organized by CIDES Working Group 2, with the support of the Department of Social Inclusion of the OAS, funded by the Government of the United States of America through the IASPN.
