The XXII Inter-American Conference of Ministers of Labor (IACML) took on October 23 and 24, 2024, in Bogotá, Colombia, under the leadership of the Ministry of Labor of Colombia.

The IACML brought together Ministers of Labor and representatives of workers and employers, to collectively discuss and build consensus on hemispheric actions to address the profound transformation in the world of work stemming from technological innovation and the climate crisis. It was an opportunity to advance the regional labor agenda and provide a new roadmap centered on the theme “The future of work in the Americas: laying the foundations for peace, social justice and climate action.”
