Following the recommendations created in FOCTALI Phase II on gender and social integration, the workshop was organized by ES-CICAD/OAS to share technical knowledge and good practices related to the current legal framework, social integration programs, and initiatives with a gender perspective implemented in the Americas. The exchange and dialogue between workshop participants and experts aimed to increase the capacity of FOCTALI-participating countries to strengthen existing gender-sensitive social integration programs for women with substance use disorders in conflict with the law for drug-related offenses.

The workshop was designed for professionals from National Drug Council/Ministry of Justice/Ministry of Health and civil society organizations implementing social integration programs with a gender perspective.
