The Committee of Experts of the Follow-up Mechanism for the Implementation of the Inter-American Convention against Corruption (MESICIC) will hold its 42nd Meeting.

Among the objectives of the meeting are:

• The adoption of the anti-corruption reports of Colombia and Grenada
• The consideration of the revised version of the proposed indicators regarding the results in the protection of whistleblowers and witnesses of acts of corruption
• Institutions like Open Contracting, the Department of Institutions for Development of the Inter-American Development Bank, the Governance-Public Administration of the World Bank, the Department of Effective Public Management of the OAS, the Anticorruption and Integrity Government Division of the OECD, Public Contracting and Transparency International, will present their best practices and experiences on open contracting for preventing corruption in a webcast that will be broadcasted throug the OAS official channels
• OAS Member States will present their anticorruption best practices following the methodology implemented by the Committee for that end
