CSIRTAmericas Week Chile Chapter

The CSIRTAmericas Network, belonging to the Cybersecurity Section of CICTE/OAS, is organizing the event 'CSIRTAmericas Week - Chile Chapter' with the financial support of the Government of the United States. This event takes place at the Faculty of Physical and Mathematical Sciences of the University of Chile from August 27-30 and seeks to provide comprehensive technical training and strengthen cooperation and information exchange among CSIRTs in the region.

The event will include the participation of three CSIRTs from Chile that are part of the CSIRTAmericas network, along with other strategic institutions in the country. The training will be led by two international experts from FIRST, who will impart knowledge in key areas such as “Cybersecurity Incident Management” and “Orchestration and Automation in Incident Management”.

The opening of the event will be a highlight, with the presence of Chile's National Cybersecurity Coordinator who will underline the importance of this collaboration for the country's cybersecurity.

“CSIRTAmericas Week - Chile Chapter” is more than just an event; it is a unique opportunity for cyber incident response teams in Chile to strengthen their capabilities and establish closer ties with their international peers. This collaboration reflects the continued commitment of the OAS and its partners to support Chile on its path to greater cyber security.
