Situation of Human Rights in Mexico
F. Persons in particularly vulnerable situations: Regarding the rights of women, the IACHR recommends the Mexican State to: 40. Implement and strengthen measures that incorporate a gender perspective to comply with the duty to act with due diligence to prevent, punish and eradicate violence and discrimination against women, including specific efforts to comply with the obligation to prevent, investigate, punish and repair human rights violations against women; this includes training and monitoring of the authorities in charge of stages beginning with the investigation, including health services in the context of justice.
