The objectives and teaching practice are aligned. The objective 1 will be accomplished throught the second activity being able to identify caribbean food groups. Objective 2 will be accomplish during activity three where they make projections of nutrients of various groups. The Fish bowl activity has noted topics to be discussed but the practice does not note if students research such information in preparation for discussion. In reference to evaluation and assessment. formative checklist and question and answer is noted which would validate performance but observation and note taking from fish bowl was not indicated.

Hi,

I find this lesson plan very interesting to apply. I like the idea the students start the class presenting what already they know and finally discuss it with the whole class. That, as we have seen in the course, helps us to evaluate their previous knowledge that we have to analyze and moderate. I also like the idea of discussion model class and identification of the healthy as an experimental part of the class.

Thank you for sharing it.

This lesson seems to be very engaging and meets the different learning styles of the students. From the beginning to the end of the lesson I was able to follow and understand each procedure carefully. I really find that the Fish Bowl activity was very creative and the topics chosen are very effective as they will certainly grab the students' attention to express their opinion on the topic. For this lesson the students would be engaged as their are different strategies that are employed in the lesson so as to meet all the different learning styles and needs.
