Description: Firstly students will be asked to tell what they think safety is and based on their response(s) the teacher would then link it to road safety. The teacher would then tell the students a dictionary definition for safety and road safety, following a brief recall of what was said. The teacher would then set up road signs and role play a scenario where road safety is needed to resolve problems while doing the day to day activity of going home from school or even going to the supermarket.

Description: I started the lesson by asking students questions if anyone has ever told a lie on them. I then allow students to share their experiences. After which students were asked to express how they felt when a lie was told about them. Then teacher explain the key concepts, Fact and opinion to students. Students were given the opportunity to apply the knowledge they gain from the explanation by giving an example of a fact and an opinion. students and teacher then formed the Fish Bowl Circle, where students shared their opinions on a given topic. Students were then taken to the computer lab where they researched the topic to find evidence for their opinions. Soon after, students worked in pairs to complete worksheets where they determine factual or opinionated statements. The lesson ended by reviewing the definitions and completing a short quiz on the topic facts or opinions.

Persuasive Writing
Students’ age range: 14-16

Topic: Techniques of persuasion
 
Description: 1. Teacher will introduce the lesson by telling a sad story, to get the students in a particular mood.
2. Students will respond by conveying the way they feel about the situation, and why they feel that way.
3. They will be introduced to the Ethos, Pathos and Logos via the projector
4. The various persuasive techniques will be shown with the use of advertisements, on famous drinks, movie stars, singers etc
5. The students will then be shown different ads, and will identify the technique used.
6. In pairs they will complete a graphic organizer/persuasive sheet . Each pair will share their answers and the class will be engaged in discussion.
7. Individually, as many children will plan for 2 mins, an impromptu ad by using two techniques discussed in the class.

DESCRIBING PLACES USING PREPOSITIONS AND NEW VOCABULARY

Topic: PREPOSITIONS OF PLACE/CLASSROOM OBJECTS AND /HOUSE
 
Description: The class started from 13h45 to 14h25 in which I explain the things that they need to know for example first they knew the importance of the class and the specific objective for them which was to describe places using new vocabulary 5 minutes, second they understand the time that we need to work for example to form groups 10minutes because some of them were shy however they could form their groups, third they choose the specific place and they give to know after choosing the place they started to draw the place, while one student was drawing another was writing the descriptive text and finding out in the dictionary new words, some of them was speaking each other to find information and finish the task, it last 30 minutes. We started with the second hour which was from 14h25 to 15h05 in the second period each group can organize the exposition they took 10 minutes. At the end they explain their task and 5 minute per each group.
At the end of the task each group should explain their topic.

Description: Dialogue with the children of what was done on the weekend. Song: "My face". Observe slides. Recognize the senses and paint them
Form the square with plasticineAfter the initial activities we sang the song "My face" Then we organized to elaborate the planning of the Significant Situation, the same we do asking the children what they have done this weekend and Shaila told us that he liked the Song of "Mi carita" and we are based on this song for the theme of the week.
We pass a child to the front to explain each of the senses and their functions and
We ask you to observe pictures where the images of the senses are found to proceed to give them a leaf and recognize each one of the senses and then paint them red.
Next we ask that they form two columns and we go them to wash the hands to serve their respective lunch.
We deliver blue plasticine to be kneaded with your little hands and form a square.
We remember what we learned and we sing watch to go home
