The Inter-American Council for Integral Development (CIDI, for its acronym in Spanish) Specialized Meetings of High-Level Cooperation Authorities are high-level triennial dialogue spaces where solutions are exchanged and new alliances are built to respond to the region's multidimensional challenges.
These meetings allow sharing of experiences and finding cooperation opportunities and alliances to achieve the goals established in the Sustainable Development Goals and its 2030 Agenda, particularly in the framework of post-COVID-19 recovery.
Through the Executive Secretariat for Integral Development (SEDI), the OAS facilitates cooperation and the creation of new alliances between Member States and Development Partners to face social, economic, and environmental challenges that affect the countries of the hemisphere.
Beyond political dialogue, this meeting seeks to promote concrete opportunities and exchanges of good practices to support recovery efforts in the Member States. These new opportunities are reflected in the CooperaNet platform’s framework, which was created by the mandate of the region’s Cooperation Authorities in 2009.
During the High Cooperation Authorities Meetings, the Member States can present their offers and needs according to the addressed topics.
