The Inter-American Dialogue of High-Level MSME Authorities is an initiative of the Organization of American States (OAS) that provides a platform for exchanging experiences and identifying cooperation initiatives to enhance the competitiveness, innovation, and internationalization of micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) in Member States.

Objectives

-Institutional Strengthening: Enhance the capacity of institutions responsible for designing and implementing policies and programs that promote productivity, entrepreneurship, innovation, and internationalization of MSMEs.

-Exchange of Best Practices: Facilitate the sharing of successful experiences and lessons learned among Member States, promoting the adoption of effective strategies for MSME development.

-Regional Cooperation: Foster collaboration among Member States to address common challenges and leverage opportunities in the MSME sector

Activities

- Periodic Meetings: Organize dialogues and conferences bringing together high-level authorities to discuss public policies and strategies supporting MSMEs.

- Publications and Resources: Disseminate newsletters and documents compiling measures and programs implemented by Member States to advance MSME economic development.

- Information Platforms: Maintains an online inventory of best practices and programs aimed at MSME and entrepreneurship development.
