CooperaNet online platform offers a consolidated space to optimize partnerships, build alliances and networks, leverage development assistance, and provide more demand-driven technical cooperation in the Americas while facilitating the regional attainment of the SDGs. The online functionalities available to the Member States and other actors were designed to position them better to lead, engage, partner, and create innovative solutions to development challenges through international cooperation.

CooperaNet responds to the mandate of the Member States’ cooperation authorities to facilitate regional and multi-sectoral cooperation for development.  

Objectives
  • Provide a tool for Member States and partners to make cooperation offers and/or share good practices, indicate needs in their specific sector, and "match” to the available cooperation offers and needs.
  • Present the different partnerships of the OAS/SEDI to promote the region's integral development, presenting information from private sector partners, academia, and the social sector.
  • Provide contact information for experts inside and outside the OAS who can offer technical assistance in specific areas of interest.
  • Share helpful information for members through documents, publications, and other relevant resources and enable exchanges that deepen the info and share events of interest in a collective calendar.  
  • Offer essential information on the region's Cooperation Authorities, including details such as the entity, name of the Authority, title, and a link to the website through the 'Cooperation Authorities' section
Activities
  • Encourage the Member States to make offers, share good practices, and indicate cooperation needs.
  • Facilitate matching the Member States to cooperation needs and/or offers.
  • Promote the active participation of experts, partners, and authorities to enrich the platform's content.
  • Bring the Member States closer to other actors that influence cooperation by facilitating spaces for exchange.
