Only IEAB authorized professionals can serve as lead auditors and perform certification assessments for electoral bodies. We provide a variety of services, including training in electoral standards, to ensure that IEAB-sanctioned professionals possess the requisite competencies and qualifications to carry out electoral audits.

PLEASE NOTE: your name as enter here will be used when the IEAB prepares the authorization documentation such as the Authorization Agreement and Code of Professional Conduct that must be executed by you as a condition of authorization.
 
Credentials for lead assessors
The purpose of this series of questions is to document your education, training, formal technical credentials, and experience in the process- and performance management domains, especially with respect to ISO management systems. Responses to the questions on this screen must be in sufficient detail to communicate a complete and up-to-date representation of your credentials to the IEAB team that will review this application. Failure to provide sufficient detail may result in rejection of the application and denial of authorization.
 
List your educational history including each degree earned, the name and address of the granting institution, and the date the degree was awarded: Provide a detailed list of post-secondary degrees earned from accredited educational institutions. For clarity, use a list format.
 
List your relevant training history including each relevant training course completed, the name and address of the organization that provided the training, and the training completion date: In response to this question, list all training courses or seminars that you have completed that are relevant to the authorization you seek. In particular, include training courses in the areas of process and/or performance management; ISO management systems; performance standards and models; metrics and measurement; and evaluation/assessment models and techniques. For clarity, use a list format.
 
Identify any relevant certifications, authorizations, or other professional credentials that you hold. In each case, specify the credential held, the organization that granted the credential, and when the credential is due to expire. Include only active credentials.  Provide a list of professional certifications that you hold, including but not limited to certifications against ISO management system standards (such as ISO 9001). Also include certifications against non-ISO standards such as the Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI) or Six Sigma.
 
Describe your experience in process and performance management with special attention to your experience in the public sector or with electoral systems: Describe any assignments, roles, and/or projects that you have lead (or in which you have participated) in the area of public-sector process or performance management.
 
List any ISO management system standards (or other international norms or models) under which you have worked or against which you are currently certified, including the name and number of the standard including any relevant dates: Provide a specific list of any systems under which you have worked (e.g. working in an ISO 9001-certified organization or an organization that held a CMMI capability or maturity level), your specific role, and any particular individual certifications or authorizations that you held at the time.
 
Provide information about your overall education; training; and certifications, authorizations or other professional credentials that you currently hold.  Discuss your experience in the process and/or performance management domains as well as your experience with ISO management systems or other international norms or models.

Credentials for Trainers:
The purpose of this series of questions is to document your specific experience in the training domain addressing electoral management issues. Responses to the questions on this screen must be in sufficient detail to communicate a complete and up-to-date representation of your electoral-management training experience to the IEAB team that will review this application. Failure to provide sufficient detail may result in rejection of the application and denial of authorization.

  • Do you develop and/or offer training courses or seminars related to electoral management?
  • Provide a list of any training courses or seminars developed or delivered by you for the electoral domain or related fields and disciplines: In response to this question, list all such training courses. Include training course title, intended audience, duration (contact hours), mode (face-to-face, online, or distance learning), and approximately how many students have completed the course to date.
  • For how many years have you worked professionally in the training domain? Estimate the total number of years for which training has been your primary responsibility. 

 

Terms and conditions
For successful applications, a signed Authorization Agreement and Code of Professional Conduct (COPC) must be in place (and all fees paid) before admission to candidacy is awarded.

During the candidacy period, the applicant must complete all IEAB authorization requirements (including training prerequisites). Upon demonstrating to the IEAB that all requirements are met, the IEAB will grant Authorized Professional status.
 
Submission and Application Fee
If you have filled out the entire application you may submit it.  Once you have submitted your application, it will be locked, and you will be unable to access it for review or update.

You will be charged a US $50 application fee for this application. Your application will not be processed by the IEAB until the application fee has been paid in full.
 
Application review
You will receive an email confirmation of the receipt of your application within one business day of submission. The IEAB authorization review team will complete processing your application within 30 business days and will notify you by email of its decision

In making its decision, the review team will not consider any information that is not contained directly in this application. In your application, do not refer to information that resides elsewhere or is in previously submitted applications. The review team may reject incomplete applications. Once the IEAB review team approves your candidacy to be authorized, you need to schedule and complete mandatory training activities.
