Constitution of Grenada of 1973
• Art. 30: Eligibility of Representatives
“A person shall be qualified to be elected as a member of the House of Representatives if, and shall not be so qualified unless, he is a Commonwealth citizen who has attained the age of eighteen years; he has resided in Grenada for a period of twelve months immediately before the date of his nomination for election or is domiciled and resident in Grenada at that date ; and is able to speak and, unless incapacitated by blindness or other physical cause, to read the English language with sufficient proficiency to enable him to take an active part in the proceedings of the House”.

• Art. 32: Eligibility of Voters

• Art. 35: Supervisor of the Elections
“There shall be a Supervisor of Elections whose duty it shall be to exercise general supervision over the registration of voters in elections of the members of the House of Representatives and over the conduct of such elections”.

• Art. 35: Call for Elections
“A general election of members of the House of Representatives shall be held at such time within three months after any dissolution of Parliament as the Governor-General may appoint […]”.
