The Inter-American Commission on Human Rights (IACHR) decided to lift these precautionary measures in favor of twelve persons identified as members of the Corporation for Peace and Social Development (CORPADES). The Commission evaluated the actions taken by the State during implementation as well as the observations of the beneficiaries' representation. Based on several requests for information, the Commission understands that the circumstances for which the precautionary measures were granted have changed significantly. In this regard, taking into account the nature of the precautionary measures mechanism and in light of the information available, the Commission considered that it did not have the elements to find that the requirements of Article 25 of its Rules of Procedure were met. Consequently, the IACHR decided to lift these precautionary measures.
