On December 12, 2016, Costa Rica deposited the instrument of ratification to the Inter-American Convention against Racism, Racial Discrimination, and Related Intolerance, at the OAS headquarters, in Washington, D.C. United States.

On October 12, 2017, Uruguay deposited the instrument of ratification to the Inter-American Convention against Racism, Racial Discrimination and Related Forms of Intolerance at the OAS headquarters, in Washington, D.C. United States.

On June 1, 2018, Antigua and Barbuda deposited the instrument of ratification to the Inter-American Convention against Racism, Racial Discrimination and Related Forms of Intolerance, at the OAS headquarters, in Washington, D.C. United States.

On January 14, 2020, the Republic of Ecuador deposited the instrument of ratification to the Inter-American Convention against Racism, Racial Discrimination and Related Forms of Intolerance at the OAS headquarters, in Washington, D.C. United States.

On January 21, 2020, Mexico deposited the instrument of ratification to the Inter-American Convention against Racism, Racial Discrimination and Related Forms of Intolerance at the OAS headquarters, in Washington, D.C. United States.

“The scope of Article 4, Section XI of the Inter-American Convention against Racism, Racial Discrimination, and Related Forms of Intolerance implies that the requirements of Mexican nationality, without any other nationality, and the other requirements for entry to schools in the military educational system, which are designed to educate and train military personnel for the Armed Forces, in accordance with the provisions of Articles 32 and 123, Section B, Subsection XIII of the Political Constitution of the United Mexican States, shall not be considered discriminatory.”

On September 22, 2021, Mexico submitted to the depository information on the designation of the central authority for both, the Inter-American Convention Against Racism, Racial Discrimination and Related Forms of Intolerance and the Inter-American Convention Against all Forms of Discrimination and Intolerance.

On May 28, 2021, Brazil deposited the instrument of ratification of the Inter-American Convention Against Racism, Racial Discrimination and Related Forms of Intolerance.

On January 20, 2022, Brazil informed the depository on the designation of the central authority with contact information regarding the Inter-American Convention Against Racism, Racial Discrimination and Related Forms of Intolerance.
