Workshop on “assessing and addressing impacts of CITES decisions on livelihoods”

iabin diagThe Secretary-General of the OAS, through the Department of Sustainable Development (DSD), the Government of Colombia, and the CITES Secretariat are organizing together the workshop “assessing and mitigating the impacts of CITES decisions on livelihoods.”

The purpose of this workshop is to showcase successful livelihoods experiences and stimulate the exchange of lessons learned regarding CITES-listed species and hold a dialogue in the framework of the implementation of CITES Decision 16.25 on the guidance and policies developed by the General Secretariat of the OAS and the CITES.
