The Fifth Meeting of Ministers and High-Level Authorities
of Social Development (V REMDES) entitled: "Strengthening Hemispheric Cooperation towards Resilient Reconstruction
and Sustainable Social Development in the Americas" seeks to generate a space for dialogue on the role that social protection
must play to overcome the challenges posed by inclusion and integral development in the Hemisphere, as well as to confront the crises and
natural disasters that affect the region through greater institutional and social resilience, based on social and fiscal pacts that make
protection strategies financially sustainable.
