Amount of the Loan

The maximum amount that a student may borrow from the Rowe Fund is $15,000 dollars in total during the course of the student’s studies in the United States. If the student requires more than a semester to graduate, no more than $7,500 dollars can be disbursed.  Students may apply for a loan to cover a portion of the expenses directly related to their studies or emergencies not covered by their principal sources of financing.

Also, 0.5% will be deducted from the loan amount at the time of disbursement as insurance, so that the loan will be considered fully paid in the event of the student's death before repaying the loan.
