Each year the OAS Secretary General publishes a proposed Program-Budget for the coming calendar year. The OAS General Assembly meets in a Special Session to approve the Program-Budget. Find these documents from 1998-2013 here.
Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.

OAS Secretary General Congratulates U.S. President on Immigration Measures

The Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), José Miguel Insulza, welcomed the initiative announced this evening by the President of the United States, Barack Obama, that benefits nearly five million undocumented people, and said “this is the fruit of the struggle they have carried forward for years to achieve a migratory status that distances them from illegality and brings them closer to a life of dignity in this country.”
Secretary General Insulza highlighted “the courage of the U.S. executive, who decided to move forward toward a fair goal that did not deserve to be further postponed.” He added that, with this action, “President Obama recognizes the contribution that these millions of workers make every day to the greatness of the United States, and the need to normalize their presence in the country.”
The OAS leader highlighted that the executive action announced by President Obama “benefits many immigrants from the member countries of the Organization of American States.” In this sense, the leader of the multilateral institution said he shares “the happiness felt today in many Latin American and Caribbean homes,” and expressed his hope that “a comprehensive legislative solution can be found to this problem of hemispheric interest.”
