OAS Organizes Subregional Workshop on Government Procurement

The Organization of American States (OAS), the Procurement Policy Unit of the Ministry of Public Administration of Mexico, the Inter-American Development Bank (IADB), the International Development Research Center (IDRC) and the Inter-American Network on Government Procurement (INGP) will hold on Thursday March 29 in Mexico City, a subregional workshop to promote the exchange of experiences on the issue and encourage discussion of the needs of each country.

The workshop will take place in the framework of the international conference "Integrity in Public Procurement" that takes place today and tomorrow in Mexico City with the participation of international experts and senior officials on government procurement from Central America, the Dominican Republic and Mexico.

The INGP consists of government institutions at the national level who have the greatest responsibility related to the regulation, management and modernization of public procurement in the countries of the Americas.
