Each year the OAS Secretary General publishes a proposed Program-Budget for the coming calendar year. The OAS General Assembly meets in a Special Session to approve the Program-Budget. Find these documents from 1998-2013 here.
Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.

Ramdin and Foreign Minister Belaunde Discuss upcoming XL OAS General Assembly in Peru

Assistant Secretary General of the Organization of American States (OAS), Albert Ramdin today welcomed the Foreign Minister of Peru, His Excellency Ambassador José Antonio Garcia Belaunde to the OAS Headquarters, who traveled to Washington, DC to share with Member States of the Permanent Council’s his government’s vision and theme for the upcoming XL Regular Session of the OAS General Assembly scheduled for Lima, Peru, June 6-8, 2010. Foreign Minister Belaunde also took the opportunity to update delegations on preparations for the meetings.
After the session, Ambassador Ramdin expressed his “satisfaction with the progress achieved thus far in the planning of this important General Assembly.” In thanking the government and people of Peru for offering to host the XL General Assembly and for the fruitful collaboration of the staff of the Peruvian Foreign Ministry; Ramdin expressed gratitude to the Government of Peru for the draft Declaration of Lima which focuses on Peace, Security and Cooperation.
“We had very good discussions on the draft program for the General Assembly as well as on some other important meetings that will precede the annual hemispheric event;” Ambassador Ramdin added. “At this stage, I am especially pleased with the level of preparation, everything appears to be in place and we are advancing well.”
