Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.

The OAS Expert Mission to Arrive in Peru for December 9 Referendum

The Electoral Experts Mission of the Organization of American States (OAS) for the December 9 national referendum will arrive in Peru tomorrow to begin its activities.
Headed by the former Deputy Foreign Minister and former Deputy of the Dominican Republic, Minou Tavárez Mirabal, the Mission will include specialists who will carry out a substantive analysis on electoral organization and technology, direct democracy, civic education, political financing and electoral justice.
The Chief of Mission and the experts will hold meetings with electoral and government authorities, political actors, representatives of civil society and academics to gather information on the preparation and development of the referendum. On the day of the vote, they will observe the process in the city of Lima and the constitutional province of Callao.
This will be the nineteenth electoral process that the OAS has observed in Peru.
