Each year in April, the OAS Board of External Auditors publishes a report covering the previous calendar year’s financial results. Reports covering 1996-2016 may be found here.

Port-au-Prince, 30 May 2019 – The Core Group (composed of the Special Representative of the United Nations Secretary-General, the Ambassadors of Brazil, Canada, France, Germany, Spain,the European Union, the United States of America, and the Special Representative of the Organization of American States) expresses its deep concern about the serious political, economic, social and security issues affecting Haiti.
It condemns the acts of vandalism perpetrated against the Senate.
To overcome these challenges, the Core Group calls for the holding, without preconditions, of a broad national debate that would bring together the political sector, the private sector and civil society.
This debate should make it possible to initiate a reform agenda, and ensure the holding of parliamentary elections as well as the proper functioning of the institutions. Such developments are necessary to provide concrete and effective answers to the daily plight of the population.
