OAS Opens Call for Submissions for the Inter-American Award for Innovation in Public Management 2023

The Organization of American States (OAS), through the Department for Effective Public Management (DGPE), has opened the call for submissions for the Inter-American Award for Innovation in Public Management (PIGEP), 2023 edition, aimed at all public institutions -at all national and subnational levels- in OAS member countries.
The main objective of the award is to strengthen democratic governance in the region by improving the public administrations of the countries of the Americas through the dissemination and exchange of innovative experiences in effective public management.
The initiative includes the collaboration of the Department of Social Inclusion and the Inter-American Commission of Women (CIM) of the OAS.
Since its first edition in 2013, a total of 662 innovative experiences have been received at the regional level, 40 special recognitions were awarded and 30 different public institutions from 19 countries in the region received awards.
